2000 character description: Magic Particles is powerful FX editor + Particle Engine. Currently more that 50 games use Magic Particles technology: http://www.astralax.com/titles Magic Particles allows you to create various special effects easily and quickly with real-time feedback. A lot of samples of special effects are delivered with program. You can use these samples as you wish or create your own special effects. Particle Engine is cross-platform solution for decorating your game using special effects. There are API for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Windows 8 / RT, FlasCC, Marmalade SDK. API does not use any external functions except those ones which have been standard of C++ for a long time. That is why library draws nothing on its own, but it returns to user all information allowing to draw the special effect. Such a way allows to separate API from OS and graphic engine. I.e. the same library magic.dll is used for any graphic engine under Windows. Also there is wrapper that allows to simplify the integration of API into user engine. Wrapper is an example with its own manual and open source code. The drawing of particles is exercised by wrapper. There are wrappers for DirectX (Windows, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8), OpenGL (Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android), Marmalade SDK, Cocos2dx, HGE, Popcap, Playground: http://astralax.com/wrapper Magic Particles (Dev) works with 2D only. But there is Magic Particles 3D (Dev) for 3D. A burning text, a flying comet, fireworks, a snow blizzard and a multi-coloured fog - all these (and many other!) special effects will be possible to create in our program. A very useful feature - quick animation of any text. You can write any words and special effect will be applied to your text. Magic Particles supports a lot of graphic formats for saving results.
